but all elements to build a Area51 like extension are embedded :)thanks for reporting, it already been solved and will be in the next update
there is a work around
f = CurrentFont()
g = f[“a”]
g.selected = True(works well when you haven’t selected a smart list item, so all glyphs should be active, this bug will be solved too :)

I don’t think I will embed it into the app natively, such a feature is similar like drawing with primitives that already exists as an extension (see http://doc.robofont.com/extensions/shapes-tool/ )Ive implemented it and will be available in the next update

A lot happened already and they will work on the next update. (this will not take that long any more, RoboFont 1.1 is already been send to the beta testers)
this should be solved in the next version, the glyph view frame will resize itself during paste

Nice idea, the main issue will be when you select one of those trailing glyphs in the view it self, should they be not selectable?
If RoboFont adds this, it will be an option in the space center option pull down menu.
