Did this change in v1.3?
The problem starts of course when there is more than one open contour… But basically I don’t care when RF fucks it up in those cases (you do), if it already works with 1 hotkey and 1 open contour it would be an improvement already.
Is there a hot key possibility in v1.3?
Top.
(having Glyph metrics on by default, and Font metrics off by default sounds as the best option)
Is it one of those days… Brrr. Unchecking the Default char set checkbox (Pref/Char Set) does this already, right?
4): Distance to horizontal metrics are sometimes more important than distance to vertical metrics
7) 8): No problem because of 15) > use InDesign permanently for testing and previewing
10) Would love to have the option for only using the proportional angle (maybe with extra key?)
14) will try and let you know.
[Really appreciate the quick response and implementation. Goed bezig!]
It would also be an excellent native function…
Solution is there already, but very well hidden: activate [Transform components] in Transform prefs at the right bottom corner, and c’est ça. Merci.
I was more thinking of a preview hotkey as in the Glyph editor
;-)
Robothon tip: use ‘alt’ while selecting the nodes and press delete. C’est ça.
(but still a ‘kill bcp’ function in ctrl-menu is desirable)
Okay, got it.
So, always bound to ctrl+command?Mmm… nothing happens.
But how to delete all bcp’s on all selected nodes?
Additionally: “kill bcp’s” (on selected nodes) in ctrl-click-menu?
Okay.
About the new pref: if deleted glyphs, which will be removed from the kern groups, are part of an exception in the kerning, will that exception than also be deleted? (or is this oldskool feature-file thinking?)
