    Hi,

    I’m receiving the following message in output window when I export my otf:

    [WARNING] [internal] Feature block seen before any language system statement. You should place languagesystem statements before any feature definition [features 1]
    makeotfexe [WARNING] Vendor name too short. Padded automatically to 4 characters. [features 801]

    The font is still generating and looks okay but I’m a little hesitant to send it off to the client with 2 warnings.

    Has anybody had this problem before? How did they resolve it?

    I recommend reading the feature file syntax see http://www.adobe.com/devnet/opentype/afdko/topic_feature_file_syntax.html

    Both are warnings your font will work, but both are also easy to fix. I think the FDK warning message is very helpful.
