Problems with test install

Every time that I try to either test install or generate a font I get :

“return s.encode(encoding, errors)
UnicodeEncodeError: ‘ascii’ codec can’t encode character u’\xe6′ in position 2: ordinal not in range(128)”

and a popup progress bar that says “Collecting Font Data” and will not stop spinning.
please help:)

Connor: my guess is that you have a non-ascii character in your font naming information.

Could you send me the UFO file? If you wish I have a look at it

There is a somewhere (I guess in the font info) a non ascii character, as Ben mentions
