    This is extremely minor but, every time I close and reopen the Inspector I find myself adjusting the size of the layer panel (it’s usually too tall for me, and when I’m working on the laptop it’s nice to have it open but smaller).

    Would it be possible / a good idea to save the last used size to the prefs? Or maybe even on opening the Inspector automatically size the Layer palette according to the number of layers present in the font (so that they all just fit inside by default)?

    for now only the close/open state of a panel inside the inspector window is saved to the user defaults. Not the the size. Will think about it :)
